2026 – John has been accepted into the Juilliard Pre-College.
2025 – John is the winner of the 8th Rosalyn Tureck International Bach Competition, Category 6 (ages 28 and under), and recipient of The Kern Foundation “Aspiration” Award.
2024 – John is the American Guild of Organists Colleague Exam (CAGO) Prizewinner! He was featured in the October 2024 The American Organist Magazine (article pictured below). The CAGO Prize is awarded to the candidate with the highest examination score in the nation.
The Colleague Certification is John’s second professional certification in organ (received at age 12 after two years of lessons on the organ). He received the Service Playing Certification in 2023, when he was 11 years old.
In the professional organ field, the Service Playing Certification has been known to hold equivalency to a bachelor’s degree, while the Colleague Certification to a master’s degree.
